The drama of America's Next Top Model get can a girl down in the dumps... So that's exactly what they did for the models' next photo shoot.

The models are dismayed to learn their shoot will take place at a landfill, where they will wear eco-friendly couture creations by designer Michael Cinco and be photographed (once again) by judge/photographer Nigel Barker.

At a shoot with photographer/judge Nigel Barker, the models wear fashions designed for Ford’s "Warriors in Pink" campaign and compete to appear in a national print ad. The winner also gets a huge surprise, and the shoot ends with an angry confrontation between two of the models. The girls then posed in a photo shoot at Universal Studios where they were crazy for fashion, followed by an extra-dramatic panel, where one of the girls has a total meltdown.

In this week's episode of America's Next Top Model Miss J. takes the models on a field trip to Universal Studios for a VIP tour, where they are joined by Jay Manuel for a shoot with photographer Miguel Starcevich and Gossip Girl stylist Eric Damon. Take a look at the girls' best shots after the jump.

In this week's episode of America's Next Top Model Tyra helps the girls discover their individual "fashion archetypes," and gives them tips on how to deal with fame. After a challenge that involves meeting and interacting with the public at the Century City Mall, the winners get a dinner out with Miss Jay, while the loser has a bit of a meltdown. At the shoot with photographer Jonathan Mannion, the models pose wearing mud, and almost nothing else. Supermodel Sonia Dara joins the judges’ panel to decide which girl will be eliminated.

Last month I wrote about Tyra Bank's new fashion and beauty site TypeF.com, which is now fully up and running. The site is fine and dandy, but the thing that I enjoyed the most was Tyra's goofy (and informative) new Web series called "Fa Fa Fa Fashion" co-starring her Top Model co-hort and Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley.
In the first episode, Tyra and Andre go deep in the trenches to uncover the history behind the classic trench coat. They share tricks on how to make the classic trench work for your modern style, while getting kicky with some fashionable insider tips.

In this week's episode of America's Next Top Model the models pose wearing mud, and almost nothing else. With photographer Jonathan Mannion the remaining eight girls pose in two groups: Blondes and Brunettes. Check out the girls' best shots and a few other stills from the shoot.

In this week's episode of America's Next Top Model the models faced a unique challenge when they worked as teams to write, direct and perform a commercial for a new line of CoverGirl cosmetics. At the Los Angeles Zoo, the models wore a new line of faux fur clothes by stylist Rachel Zoe and posed with wild animals. Zoe also joined the judges panel to decide which girl will be eliminated

Grace Helbig is one of my favorite YouTubers, so when Carolyn and I had the chance to guest star in an episode of "Grace Goes Tubing" we couldn't turn it down! Clearly we are obsessed with America's Next Top Model, but we had no idea that Grace was a giant fan, too!
Check out our conversation with Grace as we compare notes on Cycle 16 of ANTM... kinda...

The models are shocked to find that fire will be an element of their next runway challenge for designer Geoffrey Mac. Next, the models work in pairs to film a retro-style coffee commercial with photographer/director Francesco Carrozzini. Later, Carrozzini joins the judges panel to decide which girl will be eliminated.

I can't believe it has America's Next Top Model 16 cycles to get to this point, but in this week's episode the girls will be set on fire!

Well, maybe not completely on fire, but they'll be holding flames and walking down a scorching runway during the week's challenge. Take a look at some stills from the girls setting the catwalk a' blaze!

It was makeover week on Cycle 16 of ANTM. Get a better look of the girls' new looks here. After a visit to the Prive Salon it was time for a photo shoot! Fashion stylist Lori Goldstein dressed the girls in couture dresses and photographer Pamela Hanson shots them in small groups, leading to more than one meltdown.

Makeover day is always one of my favorite episodes of America's Next Top Model! For Cycle 16 the models spend a drama-filled day getting makeovers with top hair stylist Laurent D and then show off their new looks with photographer Troy Jensen.

After Tyra's nutritionist, Heather Bauer, tests the models knowledge of healthy foods and gives them tips on "cheaties" they can use to improve their diet, two of the girls get into a verbal smackdown over a piece of chicken. With the help of acting coach Eugene Buica, Nigel Barker challenges the girls to perform for the camera by getting in touch with their "inner critic." Photographer Mike Rosenthal and Jay Manuel take the models through a dramatic photo shoot with live bees, and one of the girls faces a personal crisis. Model and actress Alek Wek joins the judges to decide which girl will be eliminated.

In the premiere of Cycle 16 of ANTM he semi-finalists headed to Los Angeles, where Tyra Banks pulled a surprise switcheroo before the 14 finalists are chosen and move into the Top Model penthouse. The models met model/designer Erin Wasson and walked a runway in a giant plastic bubble! Top fashion photographer Russell James was on hand for a backstage photo shoot. Finally, Andre Leon Tally and Nigel Barker joined Erin and Tyra on the judges’ panel for the first elimination of Cycle 16.

With the premiere of Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model only a few days away even host and creator Tyra Banks is getting in on the excitement.
Check out this new promo of Ms. Banks spoofing some of Top Model's most recognizable stereotypes, like the girl who won't cut her hair and the "alternative" model who hates modeling.
Last week fans got a quick taste of the upcoming season of ANTM. But now the time has time to meet the girls who are in the running to become America's Next Top Model when The CW's hit show returns for Cycle 16 on February 23 at 8pm.

It looks like Cycle 16 will be another "high fashion" edition, as Tyra Banks and company are joined by big names like stylist Rachel Zoe, Sudanese model and actress Alek Wek, Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani and others.
And just like Ann Ward in Cycle 15, the winner of this season of ANTM will get a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and an additional spread and cover of Beauty in Vogue. Plus the ever-present $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.
Without further ado, take a look at the fourteen girls appearing on Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model and click their photo for a closer look.
