Following their makeovers the girls of Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model worked their new looks in photo shoot. Fashion stylist Lori Goldstein dressed the girls in couture dresses and photographer Pamela Hanson shot them in small groups

Makeover day is always one of my favorite episodes of America's Next Top Model! For Cycle 16 the models spend a drama-filled day getting makeovers with top hair stylist Laurent D and then show off their new looks with photographer Troy Jensen.

Tomorrow is the premiere of Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model and the photos from the girls' first shoot have hit the web! The 14 hopeful models posed for a backstage shoot with top fashion photographer Russell James. One of the girls will be eliminated because of their photo.

Love Winter Like An Austrian: Make Your Own Germknödel!

In the middle of a snow filled winter that has touched 49 out of 50 states, it’s common to find folks staying indoors searching for new ways to keep warm. For others it’s a call from nature to head outdoors with skis and snowboards to the nearest ski resort. In between those two types of people is a little something Austrians like to call "germknödel".


Far from the fancy dining at Sundance, these perfectly plum-filled warm dumplings are the thing to eat between hitting the slopes up in the Alps. Sometimes you just have to admit when you’re the underdog and these Austrians really have us beaten, blended, boiled and covered in a delicious vanilla sauce.

Germknödel should have found it’s way into all chilly climates a long time ago, so get in your kitchen and help spread the word and the recipe for this perfect winter dessert! Here's how you make it:

Facebook Captures the Beauty of NYC's Snowfall

When living in an urban area (well, anywhere, really) a big snowfall can be both beautiful and incredibly annoying at the same time. Here in NYC we've had a record amount of snow over the last few months which has stopped mass transit, ruined cars and cause general mayhem in the city.

The large amount of snow has also caused some sporadic "adult snow days" and made for some killer photo opps. While I didn't think fast enough to snap any pictures on my way into the office today, I did find a treasure trove of photos from all of my photographically inclined Facebook friends.

It wasn't that long ago that Ann Ward was named the winner of America's Next Top Model. As part of her prize she was awarded a spread in Vogue Italia and the cover of their supplement magazine Beauty in Vogue. Although the photo shoot for Beauty took place during Cycle 15, Ann's test shots for the magazine have finally surfaced.

The Men of 'Survivor: Nicaragua' -Before and After

Tonight is the season finale of Survivor: Nicaragua and I couldn't be more excited. Not necessarily to see who wins, but to see the 20 contestants together again. After 40 days in seclusion the survivors can look pretty rough, so I'm always intrigued to see what they look like at the reunion special and finale.

The Winner of 'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 15 Is...

Chelsey and Ann were the last two standing on Cycle 15 of America's Next Top Model, where the winner gets a spread in Vogue Italia, plus other high fashion prizes. In tonight's finale models worked it in a CoverGirl photo shoot and commercials, then rocked a Roberto Cavalli runway in hopes of taking home the title of Top Model.

Ann and Chelsey Face Off in the 'ANTM' Cycle 15 Finale

Judging by these CoverGirl ads alone the finale of America's Next Top Model Cycle 15 is bound to be a doozy! In the episode (airing on Wednesday December 1 on The CW) Ann and Chelsey are in Milan filming their CoverGirl commercials and print ads while they get a special visit from their families. Then they both hit the runway in a Roberto Cavalli fashion show, and are judged at panel by none other than Mr. Cavalli himself.
