Melanie C has always been one of my favorite artists -- check out my six fave Mel C videos -- so I am so happy that she has new music for us to enjoy!
"Think About It" is taken from the forthcoming fifth album called The Sea, and was was written in Copenhagen with Adam Argyle and new collaborators the Cutfather team - who also produced the song. Check it out!
I love this simple and gorgeous clip. Mel looks great (I mean, she has a 2-year-old at home) and I love her stylish looks alongside the glowing background images. Oh, and the song's really catchy, too!
"Think About It" will be released in the UK on September 4 and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on August 26. Along with the UK release the single will also be available for digital download worldwide on iTunes and JunoDownload.
Beside "Think About It" Melanie C also recently released a single and video called "Rock Me" which was created specially for the Women's World Cup. Check it out, too!
Is anyone else as excited for new Melanie C music as I am? Leave a comment!
Ten years ago, magic took hold over theaters across the world as we watched a young boy enter the wizarding world. Here we are in 2011 arriving at the final chapter that seemed so far away when it all began. We’ve all grown up and so have these movies. Endless combined hours of being transported (and probably months-worth for true Potter fans) to a world enchanted by Cornish pixies, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, Acromantulas and Quidditch have brought us to this final farewell.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is the much-hyped second of two full-length films concluding the eight film series (based on seven books by J.K. Rowling). We find ourselves back with Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) as they continue to seek out and destroy the final Horcruxes in hopes of ending the dark reign of Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). While the series as a whole has been a search for self-discovery, this final film is where the unveiling truly begins -- and ultimately ends.
The battle has been waging for quite some time, so this final film prefers to take the more emotional route over the spellbound action adventure that they allotted for last year’s Deathly Hollows -- Part 1. That doesn’t mean there is anything lacking, since there was considerable time spent filling scenes with cameos from Potter's past. While the final book definitely pulls memorable spells, magical objects and characters into play, it is much more noticeable in the shortened film format and helps to give the proper nod to not only the character’s past, but our own past growing up as viewers. All due nostalgia was paid in full and definitely brought on the waterworks. While tears were rampant in the theater, it’s the onscreen tears that only made it more overwhelmingly moving (just bottle them up and pour them into a penseive and make us cry more, why don’t ya?)
There is no better way to end a series than to experience the parellels of being a viewer coping with the end of an era and your beloved onscreen characters fighting against their own looming end. So, get ready to light a candle, or in this case cast a "Lumos" spell and say your goodbyes. But remember, nothing is truly ever over if you don’t want it to be, so now we can all hop a train at Platform 9 ¾ and make our way over to Pottermore.

Horray! The besties were reunited briefly while Carolyn made a work trip to NYC this week, so obviously we made a vlog to catch everyone one up our lack of vlogs (sorry!) and what we've been up to.
Here's all of our lurking info in case you didn't have it already:
Say what you want about the last few seasons of Project Runway, but it will always be one of my guilty pleasures. And after months of waiting, the designers of season 9 -- premiering on Thursday, July 28 at 9pm on Lifetime -- have finally been revealed.
Season 9 will feature a whopping 20 designers in the premiere episode (don't worry, swift cuts are sure to happen early) with a wacky outdoor challenge and guest judge Kim Kardashian.
Mentored by everyone's favorite fancyman Tim Gunn, meet the 20 hopeful designers who will try to "make it work" in front of Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors in the latest season of Project Runway.
When I saw this clip a few weeks ago I was reluctant to share it with anyone, even though it -- and other clips of the same event -- already have hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. It was just too special and too beautiful for other people to see. Luckily, I realized that thought was a little insane, so here it is.
Take a look as the people of Poznan, Poland release nearly 8,000 paper lanterns into the night sky to celebrate the shortest day of the year.
The first time I ever saw these paper lanterns released was in the 2000 Leonardo DiCaprio flick The Beach (I don't care what you think, it's one of my favorites!) and I honestly didn't think it was a real "thing." I just assumed it was some marvelous Hollywood imagery. In fact, there's also a very beautiful lantern scene in Tangled, one of Disney's latest animated films. Obviously, the paper lanterns -- or sky lanterns -- are real and nothing new to the world.
There is something about these paper lantern ceremonies that affects me. I, personally, have never participated in their release, but have always felt an emotional yank on my heart strings when viewing one. I mean, how can you not feel inspired when looking at the very incarnation of what a dream or wish looks like?
