Watch Adam Levine Do Yoga? Sure!

In the latest issue of Details magazine Adam Levine talks about his love for yoga, and how it keeps him grounded while on the road with Maroon 5.

"The 32-year-old singer, who is also a judge on NBC's The Voice, owes that body to a mix-and-match yoga regimen he practices at home, at the recording studio, and on the road. "At any Maroon 5 concert, you'll see a room backstage marked yoga," he says.

Living the plugged-in celebrity life in Los Angeles, Levine was aware of the yoga scene but initially kept his distance, turned off by what he calls "the cheesy clichés." But he began to worry that his gym routine was a dead end, hurting more than it helped: "Weights made my neck thick, and I would be like, 'I'm turning into a monster!'" As he grew increasingly frustrated by lower-back pain and tight hips and hamstrings, he decided to give yoga a try. That was five years ago, and Levine hasn't lifted a weight or entered a gym since. "Yoga takes what you have and molds and sculpts it, which is a much more natural way to look and feel," he says."

You read more of Levine's interview and see photos of him practicing at Details.com, but check out this lovely clip of Adam explaining his love for yoga and demo-ing some positions (giggity!) on video:

Perhaps I shall take up yoga after all...

6 Things: Songs I Recorded From the Radio

Maybe it's because I spent a long weekend at my parents house rummaging through old CDs from when I was younger, but I'm feeling extra nostalgic this morning.

So, to embrace those mid-to-late-nineties tingles inside of me I'd like to share with you the music videos of six songs I used to record from the radio onto cassette tapes when I was in middle school. Enjoy!

Sophia Grace and Rosie Interview Katy Perry and Others on the AMAs Red Carpet

Internet stars Sophia Grace and Rosie -- who got famous for their Nicki Minaj "Super Bass" clip -- are getting more time in the spotlight.

The dynamic duo served as red carpet correspondents for The Ellen DeGeneres Show for last Sunday's American Music Awards, and interviewed stars like Taio Cruz, Julie Bowen, Lady Antebellum and Lil John (whom they assumed was Lil Wayne's brother).

The best was when Katy Perry pushed her way through the crowd to get to them. The girls freaked out (poor audio tech!) and even sang a clip of "Firework" for Katy. Too cute! Check it out:

"I Want It!" Holiday Gift Guides

This time he's put together four visually appealing spreads of some great gift ideas for your friends, family and maybe even writers of blogs that you may be reading right now (Hint: Gimme that suede shoulder sweater!)

Check out the awesome "I Want It!" gift guides from Some Kinda Blog (click the image for pricing and purchase info):
"When choosing gifts we tend to consider two factors: form & function, and an object’s compatibility to its recipient. It’s a lot like matchmaking, which can be a tough job.

With just a month left until Christmas, I’m sure many of you have already begun browsing for gifts. But in case you ever feel stumped while shopping for that “friend with everything” I’ve prepared some guides to help inspire some ideas, matched with four modern social archetypes. Good luck and happy giving!"

Just in case you're wondering, I'd like everything in the "cool guy" pile. Kthx. Happy holidays!

How I (Almost) Survived My First Juice Cleanse

First of all, let me say that I am not someone who is very focused on my overall diet, health or fitness. So, when people around my office started talking about cleanses and juice diets I wasn't very interested at first. But after the conversations continued for several weeks I started to wonder what exactly would happen if I laid off of sugar, carbs, booze, caffeine, meat and well, anything except for juice for a few days.

It turns out that my cubicle mate, Michele, had done a few juice cleanses in the past so we -- for whatever reason -- decided to put our bodies and our will to the test and cleanse it up. We signed up for a three-day "serious cleansing" from Elixir Juice in New York City, but there are a billion different varieties of cleanses out there. For a not inexpensive fee we received six different juices per day, each with their own cute name (like "mood mender") and ingredients to coordinate with whatever my body may need at the time of day I was drinking each blend.

Day one was pretty good. The whole novelty of doing a juice cleanse was exciting. I started my morning off with an "all greens" mix that tasted like a liquid salad made of mostly kale. Later in the morning I had my second juice of some fruity mixture that was basically all grapefruit. When lunchtime rolled around it was time for a blend called "skin tonic" that I swear was made with actual skin. The bottle said it was made with things like apple, celery and spinach, but I definitely think there was some skin in there. The juices were actually pretty good and I was feeling fine until 2:30pm when -- in the middle of a meeting -- I thought I was going insane. I got a throbbing headache (probably because of caffeine withdrawal) and felt super agitated and squirrely. Post-meeting I ran back to my desk for my next juice called "fatique fighter" which was mostly watermelon. It was good, but only returned me partially back to my normal self. After regaining sanity I ended my work day with a putrid concoction of beet and hatred (seriously, the worst one!) and then had one final juice before bed that actually tasted like a liquified oatmeal cookie. How convenient of the juice lords to end the day with a pleasant-tasting drink to make me forget the skin and beet torture of earlier in the day. I went to bed feeling a little bit lighter and proud of myself.

Likes or Yikes? The Sexiest Man Alive, Stephenie Meyer Hates Twi-Hards and a Chat with Lauren Graham

iVillage.com's Pat Sandora and Jacki Garfinkel give their humorous opinions on what's buzzing in entertainment this week.

36 year old Bradley Cooper was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2011. The Hangover Part 2 star was up against stiff competition from the likes of Ryan Gosling, Adam Levine and even Jason Segel -- but did he deserve the title?

The latest Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 1 is in theaters now, but Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is in hot water after saying she hates the term "Twi-hard", which is the nickname for the series' super fans.

Plus, Pat and Jacki play a round of "likes or yikes?" with Lauren Graham and Jason Ritter from NBC's Parenthood and get their thoughts on those big Braverman dancer parties, acting alongside Sex and the City alum John Corbett and if there will ever be a Gilmore Girls move.

April and Andy Take a Road Trip on the New 'Parks and Rec' Web Series

Fans of NBC's Parks and Recreation know that Andy (Chris Pratt) and April (Aubrey Plaza) are normally getting into some kind of shenanigans. And now they're getting into said shenanigans on their own Web series.

In a recent episode of Parks and Rec we saw Andy share his bucket list with April, which inspiring the couple to take a road trip out west. Volkswagen will conveniently help bridge the on-air story to the online story as the two "borrowed" April’s dad's Passat and begin their adventure.

Watch as they battle spiders, scope out real estate opportunities, and visit the famous "Four Corners" (or, at least what Andy thinks is the Four Corners).

'It's a Brad, Brad World' Will Premiere on January 2, 2012 on Bravo

Fans of The Rachel Zoe Project who have been wondering, "Where's Brad?" and "who are those new guys?" finally have some answers! Bravo just announced that Zoe's former assistant-turned stylist Brad Goreski's new show It's a Brad, Brad World will premiere on Monday, January 2 at 10pm.

The series will follow Brad as he embarks on his own in the glimmering, cutthroat world of fashion styling. This docu-series will be an all-access pass into the life of the small-town Canadian kid who followed his dreams. While Brad obsesses with getting his clients red-carpet ready, he struggles to balance work and his home life with long-term boyfriend, Gary.

Here's Brad explaining the concept in his own words:

According to Bravo, Goreski's love affair with fashion began at age 12 when he picked up his first Vogue and became mesmerized by its pages. During summer breaks while attending the University of Southern California, Brad interned in the New York offices of Vogue and W magazines. After a chance meeting with stylist Rachel Zoe, Brad began working for her in 2008, until going out on his own in 2010. Since then, Brad’s life has attended the Academy Awards with Anne Hathaway, been photographed by Terry Richardson and made the cover of the Styles section of The New York Times.

Check out some additional photos of Brad Goreski and his boyfriend Gary Janetti from It's a Brad, Brad World.

'Happy Feet Two' Will Have You Flapping Your Fins

Full disclosure, I have never seen the first Happy Feet film, so when I was invited to a screening of Happy Feet Two -- in theaters Friday, November 18 -- I was a little apprehensive. I mean, how on earth would I know what all of these happy little penguins were dancing for if I didn't see the first one?!

Well, as it turns out Happy Feet Two is extremely enjoyable for all ages, even without having seen its predecessor.

HF2 --as the cool kids like me call it -- is a dazzling display of 3D animation filled with enormous amounts of cute baby animals, family-appropriate laughs and just enough singing to be true to the brand and still be enjoyed by a Glee-hater like me. If it were a a YouTube video with real animals it would have all of the views on the Internet.

The story centers around the main character, an Emperor penguin named Mumble (voiced by Elijah Wood) and his son Erik (Ava Acres), who is struggling to find his purpose in a world filled with other extremely talented penguins. Meanwhile, Mumble, his spouse Gloria (voiced by P!nk) and the rest of the colony discover a new threat their home -- one that will take everyone working (and dancing!) together to save. Other big names like Robin Williams, Hank Azaria and Sophia Vergara lend their voices to the penguin brood.
