According to several sources, including the NY Post, Britney was asked to record and perform a duet with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake which would be produced by uber-producer Timbaland. Everything that Timbaland has touched turned to gold this year (and last year, too) and Justin Timberlake isn't doing too bad for himself, either. Britney agreed to the duet, but apparently pulled out at the last second because she didn't want to do it anymore.You are stupid, Britney. We all knew that you were a little *makes crazy motion* but this really shows that you don't care about your career whatsoever anymore. I'm not trying to turn into a Perez Hilton or anything, but it's sad to me that a celeb who was basically the queen of the world a few years ago is now nothing but a joke.
It was rumored that Britney was going to make her comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards next month, but apparently that's not happening (or at least shouldn't) anymore. News just broke today that Timberlake will be joined by a different leading lady; Madonna. Not too shabby. Wonder if Madge will lock lips with JT the way she did with Britney (and Christina, but everyone forgets.)
