Garfield Minus Garfield

This week I came across one of the most hilarious and depressing websites I have seen in quite some time. The blog Garfield Minus Garfield takes a strange look at what the life of Jon Arbuckle would be like without his trust house cat, Garfield. Here's a blurb from the website:
"Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness and methamphetamine addiction in a quiet American suburb."
While the meth addiction may be a little bit of a stretch, it is really strange to see what Jon would be like if he lived a sad and lone existence... you know, like Ziggy. Here are some of my favorite comics:

A sad day for Mr. Arbuckle. These strips are pretty tragic when you remove that fat cat.

Thoughts?
