Spice Week continued last night as I was able to check out Melanie C's (Sporty Spice) solo acoustic show at the Manhattan Ballroom.The show was amazing, obviously, and I will just make a few quick notes. The thing that sets apart people that are actually good performers from the fakey ones are if they actually sound good live, and let me tell you, Melanie was fantastic. Her voice sounded exactly like it does on her albums. She was funny and charming during her chats with the crowd and was totally likable. Geri, Emma and Mel B all showed up in support, too, which made the crowd go wild with Spice excitement.
