Sweet Emily's Offers Cute and Yummy Dining Experience

There are so many places to eat in New York City that finding a new place is almost overwhelming at times. So when a friend recommends a place to eat I always take their suggestion very seriously. This week my friend Kelly suggested a newish restaurant in Hell's Kitchen called Sweet Emily's.

Located at 351 West 51st street (between 8th and 9th avenue) Sweet Emily's was cute and relaxed. Emily herself took care of us during our almost three-hour dinner and was just lovely. The space was large, but separated into smaller nooks with a bar, lounging chairs and sofas and romantic tables. Would be great for a celebration dinner or for taking out-of-town guests.

Besides the decor, the food (and the price) were fantastic. I had champagne, freshly made flat bread, mac & cheese and bacon croquettes, the Jacquie's burger and fries and warm apple cake for dessert. All of that was under $50 (the champagne was $11) and it was yummy! Definitely recommend.

Next time you need a new, nice place to dine check out Sweet Emily's in Hell's Kitchen.
