Likes or Yikes? 2011's Most Fascinating, Hanson Beer and Kardashian Wedding Drama Continues

iVillage.com's Pat Sandora and Jacki Garfinkel give their humorous opinions on what's buzzing in entertainment this week.

It's that time of year again when Barbara Walters reveals her list of the Most Fascinating people of the year. Names that have been announced so far include Simon Cowell, Donald Trump, Katy Perry, Derek Jeter, Pippa Middleton and of course, the Kardashian family. But who will be the most fascinating person of 2011? We'll have to tune in on December 14 at 9:30pm on ABC.

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian continued their divorce drama this week with Humphries asked for an annulment to their marriage instead of a divorce, saying their union was a fraud! Ouch! Kim can't be too pleased...

And finally the Hanson brothers -- famous for their 90s hit "Mmmbop" -- announced that they are going to release their own beer in the future called "Mmmhop IPA" ...get it? We give our suggestions for other 90s acts who may want to think about getting into the alcohol business.

Kid Pilgrim and Indian Answer Questions About the First Thanksgiving

I'm a total sucker for kids being funny and since tomorrow is Turkey Day, I couldn't help but share this LOL-worthy clip from iVillage.com.

Did you know that they had a Care Bear cake at the first Thanksgiving? Me either! Watch and learn many more interesting facts as a kid pilgrim and Indian give details about the very first Thanksgiving.

I have to agree with Dena -- Beef Frank's is an establishment best visited for desserts only.

Sophia Grace and Rosie Interview Katy Perry and Others on the AMAs Red Carpet

Internet stars Sophia Grace and Rosie -- who got famous for their Nicki Minaj "Super Bass" clip -- are getting more time in the spotlight.

The dynamic duo served as red carpet correspondents for The Ellen DeGeneres Show for last Sunday's American Music Awards, and interviewed stars like Taio Cruz, Julie Bowen, Lady Antebellum and Lil John (whom they assumed was Lil Wayne's brother).

The best was when Katy Perry pushed her way through the crowd to get to them. The girls freaked out (poor audio tech!) and even sang a clip of "Firework" for Katy. Too cute! Check it out:

Likes or Yikes? The Sexiest Man Alive, Stephenie Meyer Hates Twi-Hards and a Chat with Lauren Graham

iVillage.com's Pat Sandora and Jacki Garfinkel give their humorous opinions on what's buzzing in entertainment this week.

36 year old Bradley Cooper was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2011. The Hangover Part 2 star was up against stiff competition from the likes of Ryan Gosling, Adam Levine and even Jason Segel -- but did he deserve the title?

The latest Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 1 is in theaters now, but Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is in hot water after saying she hates the term "Twi-hard", which is the nickname for the series' super fans.

Plus, Pat and Jacki play a round of "likes or yikes?" with Lauren Graham and Jason Ritter from NBC's Parenthood and get their thoughts on those big Braverman dancer parties, acting alongside Sex and the City alum John Corbett and if there will ever be a Gilmore Girls move.

April and Andy Take a Road Trip on the New 'Parks and Rec' Web Series

Fans of NBC's Parks and Recreation know that Andy (Chris Pratt) and April (Aubrey Plaza) are normally getting into some kind of shenanigans. And now they're getting into said shenanigans on their own Web series.

In a recent episode of Parks and Rec we saw Andy share his bucket list with April, which inspiring the couple to take a road trip out west. Volkswagen will conveniently help bridge the on-air story to the online story as the two "borrowed" April’s dad's Passat and begin their adventure.

Watch as they battle spiders, scope out real estate opportunities, and visit the famous "Four Corners" (or, at least what Andy thinks is the Four Corners).

Likes or Yikes? Kim's Divorce, Bieber's Baby Drama, Lindsay's Locked Up and Jessica's Pregnant

iVillage.com's Pat Sandora and Jacki Garfinkel give their humorous opinions on what's buzzing in entertainment this week.

Kim Kardashian filed from divorce from her husband Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. Was the whole thing fake from the beginning?

Kim's divorce news totally overshadowed Jessica Simpson's announcement that she is pregnant with her first child.

Justin Bieber is under fire after a 20-year-old fan claims the Biebs is the father of her baby, alleging that they had sex back stage after one of his concerts.

and Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 30 days in the big house after admitting she's violated probation. Luckily for Lindsay, she gets to delay her time so she can reshoot her spread in Playboy magazine.

Ellen Sends Her Reporter Amy (and Her Mom!) to Another Haunted House

Last month I shared the video of Amy Rhodes -- who plays the roving reporter on The Ellen DeGeneres Show -- getting the living crap scared out of her in a haunted house. She screams at everything in sight, and even things that are out of sight, while telling the ghouls and goblins that they're "so rude" and to quit scaring her even though she "knows they're getting paid."

This year Ellen sent Amy back to another haunted house -- actually, a haunted cruise ship -- as part of her sponsorship with the deals site Groupon. But, Amy wasn't alone this time! She was joined by her also easily startled mother, Mary Kay. Watch their adventure now:

Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go" Gets 'Hunger Games' Parody

This is by no means new, but somehow I just found it a few days ago. As someone who is moderately obsessed with The Hunger Games (the Capitol assigned me as a factory worker in District 8!) I love this parody music video set to "I Wanna Go" by Britney Spears.

In the clip Gale and Peeta battle it out in an attempt to woo the story's heroine Katniss Everdeen. Check it out:

Here's the lyrics, in case you are curious:

Yahoo! Mailbox Delivers Funny Quips and Gifts to Passersby

To promote their upgraded mail service -- which you can learn about on Facebook -- Yahoo! has made some pretty funny videos featuring a very large purple mailbox, aka the Purple People Greeter.

In the clips the mailbox greets and chats up people walking by in New York City, and even offers them some very nice mail, including flowers, cash, Yankees tickets and even iPads! Check it out:

The Purple People Greeter also did its thing in Chicago, delivering gifts and cracking jokes to by-standards. Watch that one, too...

Clever, huh? Love people's interactions with the giant mailbox.

Likes or Yikes? 'X Factor' Star Liliana Rose, 'Real Housewives' Drama and Disney Goes 3D

This week iVillage.com's Pat Sandora and Jacki Garfinkel give their humorous opinions on what's buzzing in entertainment.

It's been a crazy few weeks in the world of The Real Housewives. Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord were all fired from the New York City edition, Peggy Tanous from Orange County announced she was leaving her show this week and Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Guidice had an all-out Twitter war after Teresa allegedly set up her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. Drama!

After the success of The Lion King's re-release in 3D Disney announced it will be releasing other classic animated films like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Finding Nemo in 3D, too.

And X Factor contestant Liliana Rose Andreano stops by to talk about her amazing audition (where she sang "You Are My Sunshine") and what it was like to get a "yes" from Simon Cowell. Get more of her music on iTunes.

Kim Kardashian was voted the Most Annoying Celebrity of 2011 by a poll conducted by Parade magazine. She beat out other annoying stars like Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen and Snooki.

Rihanna was called fat by one of her fans on twitter, and the pop star agreed! Rihanna tweeted back, "I peeped that too *puts down donut*

Get Mesmerized by Slow-Motion Slinky and Water Balloon

If you read this blog regularly you know that I'm a huge fan of anything put in slow-motion (like a cupcake cannon for example), so when I was poking around on CBSNews.com's The Feed I was happy to find two new clips for me to creepily enjoy while watching alone.

The first clip shows up what happens when you drop a slinky not down a flight of stairs, but straight down. The slow-motion action is very interesting. Check it out:

The second clip is far less scientific, but still very entertaining to watch. Check out what happens when you throw a water balloon in someone's face and it fails to pop.

I hope your life was improved by watching these clips. You're welcome.

Not Sure How to Say a Word? Let Pronunciation Book Help

We all know that YouTube is composed of 95% cat videos, 4% of random crap from users (like vlogs about ANTM, for example) and about 1% actual helpful information.

A few weeks ago when shooting one a segment for Likes or Yikes? I needed to know how to pronounce the designer Lanvin. I thought I knew how to say it, but I couldn't get anyone in the office around me to confirm that I was correct. After some quick research online my coworker, Michele, stumbled upon the YouTube channel Pronunciation Book, which gives simple, spoken pronunciations for common words that may be a little confusing to say. Luckily for me, Lanvin was one of the words!

Were you saying it correctly? I mean, do you ever actually need to say this word aloud in your everyday life?

Four of the top six most-viewed videos on the channel are beauty/fashion related that may be tricky to the English-speaking individual, like Givenchy, L'Occitane and Hermes. Also up at the top is the berry acai, and the name of pop star Ke$ha, whose dollar sign may confuse those learning English for the first time (or anyone with a brain.)

But speaker, beware! There is also a spoof channel out there called Pronunciation Manual which gives incorrect -- albeit humorous -- pronunciations of commonly misspoken words. Try Onomatopoeia for example:

Rude.
