Postcards From Yo Momma

I'm always surprised at just how many hours a day I stare at the internet. Not really surprised so much as depressed, but still... Every once in a while I come across a blog or website that makes me say, "man, why didn't I think of that?" The biggest postcard-related blog would definitely have to be PostSecret.com (if you're not familiar 1- you live under a rock 2- you should read immediately) but yesterday I found another really fun blog that I wanted to share.

PostcardsFromYoMomma.com is a blog where readers send in their postcards, emails, instant messages and phone conversations with their mothers saying typical "mom things." I know that I've certainly received an email or two from my mom where she was "momming" me as we say, but I don't think I will she sharing any... I don't want to face this in a fight.

Some of the ones on the blog are just too funny not to share. While these are not from my own mother, they are some of my faves.

Call off the dogs…Dad solved the mystery…apparently there are several of those signs around the area…Methodist Church seems to be behind this…i.e. the boy is Jesus!

tell me about face book. do you have a page on it? can anyone look at your page? I am worried about this type of thing.

Hair Loss at 22
It said on Yahoo that hair loss can be caused by iron deficiency among other things that probably would not apply to you. This can be managed usually by eating foods high in folic acid and taking a multi vitamin every day.
