Although I have been really enjoying discs from Kylie, Madonna and Mariah (Um... wow, even I'm a little surprised) I have still been on the look out for some new jams. I know there has been so much hype surrounding Robyn in the past, well... 6 months or so, but I was a little hesitant to jump on the bandwagon.The other day on a whim I went ahead and downloaded her latest album Robyn and listened to it all day at work. Let me say... It's really great. Really funky, really interesting, really different from most everything that's out there right now. I'm not going to write too much about it because there are like 5,000 blog entries written about it already. I will say that it's a hip mix of pop, dance, electro-grunge mixed with cool down beats. I was able to listen to the whole album front to back a few times and not get bored or annoyed with any of the tracks.
If you're looking for something new and different than you should get this album if you don't have it already. You're welcome.
