Eric's On the Bolt Bus

As my blog network is ever-expanding, my buddy Eric is currently en route to NYC via the Bolt Bus (not to be confused with the Megabus, which I wrote about a few months ago.) He just sent me this report:
Ok... I am feeling a little weird.

I am on a bus (silent scream) to New Yawk and I am extremely comfortable. I have about 2.5 feet of leg room, my own seat and really great air conditioning.

Did I mention that there is a power outlet and FREE WIFI on the bus?! I am on the bus as I am writing this.

The BoltBus is only way to travel for this Philadelphian to visit the Big Apple from now on. This bus looks brand new and does not have the stink and.... um... cliental... of other bus lines. I am not naming names.

Did I mention it has prices as low as $1 each way? Ridiculous. I only got the tickets 5 days before I was going to New York so I had to pay full price. $18 round trip. Yeah. For reals.
Here are some pix he sent me from his iPhone *cough Elitist cough*

I have no idea how companies like Bolt Bus and Megabus stay in business, but I'll definitely have to check it out the next time I travel around the Northeast.

Have you ever ridden?
